New York News: Updates and Featured Cases

The Tedesco Brothers

If You Live in New York, You Should Know Who They

Are!

Ross Coulhart Interviews Nightcrawler Team 12/25

Featured Case #127891: The Fox and the Orb Orange County, NY

Field Investigator Patrick Mann's summary of the event:

The video shows a small orb flying directly at

the camera. The orb moves approximately 66 feet

in 3 seconds. This is an observed speed of 15 miles per hour.

There are no cars in the vicinity. It appears that the

fox sees the orb and is startled by it as the orb

passes the fox. The fox can be seen running away

quickly as the orb passes over its head. The

object appears to be about 6" in diameter

and solid. The surface seems to be reflective. After

reviewing the video several times, it is impossible

to determine what the object was. The object's

velocity is too constant to be a ball thrown from

behind the trees.

Witness Reports

Yonkers, 1980: The witness reported an event that occurred several years ago when playing “1-2-3 Roundup” with neighborhood friends. The game involved hiding anywhere within a one block radius in a residential area. The witness climbed to the roof of a 10-story building to hide from the others. The roof offered a clear view of the GW bridge and as he looked out over the city, he saw an object appear near the bridge "out of nowhere" on the Yonkers side of the Hudson River. He could see that it was triangular or boomerang, solid and had three lights (red, yellow and blue). As it moved slowly and soundlessly toward him, the witness became, “very afraid and felt the hair rise on the back of my neck”. He stated that he believed it was coming toward him with intent. While the witness' first instinct was to run away and hide, he said that "everything went quiet and it felt like someone hit the pause button". His next memory was of being confused, leaving the roof and going downstairs to the street where he was surprised to see that his friends were gone and the corner bodega was closed for the night. The “trash was out and cars were parked on the street”, indicating that it was much later than he thought. He went home and realized he had approximately three hours of missing time. Later he asked his friends if they had seen the object and no one else had.

The witness does not remember anything from that event during the period of missing time. He has not experienced any unusual phenomena or additional sightings since.

Mt. Sinai, February 2023: The witness, a pilot and aeronautical engineer, observed a commercial jet approaching from the west at about 30K feet. He noted a bright white strobe on the same airway, situated below the approaching jet. He stated that it was unusual to see two aircraft sharing the same airway in such proximity. Within seconds he observed the appearance of a second unknown object which he described as three red lights in a cigar shape orientation. The object moved erratically and with remarkable speed, changing direction, executing abrupt stops and turns and hovering. It appeared solid, with fuzzy edges that faded to pink.

After approximately 4 minutes, the object dropped to the horizon and faded. He stated that he did not know what happened to the white strobe lit object under the commercial jet as his full attention was directed at the three red lights. He also noted that the three red lights never lost their orientation to one another, remaining horizontal and always "facing" the witness. He stated that the object appeared to maintain a consistent distance from him but dropped and gained altitude like a "laser pointer".

When asked about his perceptions before, during and after the sighting, the witness described an impression that the object, "wasn't in our reality. It seemed that it was a projection from somewhere else...pointing into our dimension". He stated that prior to this experience he had not considered this concept but that the thought had "come to him during the sighting". He also felt that the object was aware of him. He said he was not afraid and that he and his wife were "giddy" with excitement and hoped to have the opportunity to see it again.

11/2022, Manhattan: “My friend and I observed a strange, elongated cloud-like object over the Hudson River near midtown Manhattan, NY. The object blended perfectly with the surrounding skies, if it wasn’t for a periodic but frequent shimmer of lightning moving horizontally through it, which is what caught my attention. The object moved north over the Hudson River with steady speed seemingly at the same altitude.

“My husband drove us southbound on the West Side Highway between 60th and 50th Streets in Manhattan, NY. The Highway runs parallel to the Hudson River, and both my friend and I were passengers in an SUV with unobstructed view of the sky above Hudson River (between Manhattan, New York and Hoboken, New Jersey). It was already fairly dark, when an odd shimmer and movement caught my attention. It looked like a piece of sky was moving while some sort of electric current was going through it lighting it up with veins of lightning… my friend spotted it as well. While I couldn’t make out distinct edges, she thought that it was saucer-snapped. The object was moving with steady speed away from us, moving north while we were moving south, and in the matter of 20-30 seconds it was out of our view. “
